Digital Growth Manager


MICHI (, a directional, high performance active lifestyle brand, that believes in sustainability and “Fueling Female Confidence” is currently seeking a Digital Growth Manager in Toronto, Canada.



We are seeking a digitally and consumer saavy “Math” Person who has a creative side and knows how to run ads in order to rapidly scale revenue. The ideal candidate focuses on ROI (or ROAS), is analytical, strategic, experienced, understands social behaviour and will be responsible for the strategy, execution, analysis, and on-going optimization of the company’s eCommerce website and online marketing programs. This is a unique opportunity to build upon an already forward-thinking brand with a loyal customer base to increase brand awareness, conversion rates and LTV.



  • Responsible for E-Commerce growth and profit of
  • Define the merchandising strategy and key customer journeys for the Ecommerce experience
  • Own the conversion funnel and rate to implement improvements
  • Manage budget and bidding strategies to maximize efficiency for owned programs; including technical setup of experiments and analysis of results
  • Maintain a data-driven approach through continual experimentation and optimization to exceed aggressive company goals; with the daily evaluation of critical KPI’s (CAC, LTV, CPC, AOV and conversions)
  • Lead and define optimization efforts through, data collection, testing, surveys and implementation of best practices
  • Partner with the CEO on customer segmentation initiatives as they grow towards a premium personalized experience 
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team to build scalable solutions that improve the user experience across the full omni-channel journey online
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure brand integrity is maintained through all tests and updates 
  • Consistently QA the site to ensure content and merchandise are accurate and UX is optimal
  • Monitor performance, help drive improvements in traffic quality, conversion rates and customer LTV
  • Develop and execute the strategic online marketing plan, including social media, branding, online partnerships and communications
  • Navigate an agile environment that requires independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication
  • Perform frequent updates of the content on the site including creative imagery, product descriptions, merchandising, and brand initiatives
  • Manage and create a web calendar strategy and maintain deadlines including site launches and promotions
  • Maintain best practices for UX and site functionality 
  • Create and carrying out a comprehensive CRM and email marketing strategy; reporting regularly on the efficacy of these campaigns
  • Develop short and long-term E-Commerce & offline strategies and execute with a roadmap that is integrated with Company strategy
  • Set up processes and tools to measure KPIs for all online activities in order to report and analyze performance on an on-going basis
  • Be the end-to-end channel owner which includes tracking, measurement, attribution, optimization, reporting and automation
  • Improve SEO by providing detailed recommendations to copywriter to optimize web content
  • Assist in maintaining, track and update paid digital marketing campaigns on Google (SEM, PLA, Banners), Facebook/Instagram and other paid social
  • Manage online pricing strategies such as markdowns and promotions
  • Act as liaison with our web developer and any digital agency partners
  • Drive traffic (search, social, display, email, etc.) and optimize website conversion
  • Research, evaluate and deploy growth opportunities, prioritize most impactful projects
  • Ensure efficient fulfillment and great customer service
  • Meet new customer, revenue, and margin goals, while managing an efficient budget



  • University or College degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in E-Commerce and Digital for a B2C focused organization
  • Track record of running ads and rapidly scale revenue with a resulting high ROAS
  • Mathematical mindset and abilities
  • Strong understanding of social behaviour
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing
  • Experience with CRM and email retention marketing
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Search
  • Strong desire to fully understand customer, segment, start small, iterate, double down in proven areas and get very focused on serving core customer segments
  • Strong ability and desire to analyze and synthesize quantitative data through analytical tools while also prioritizing execution (e.g., summarize the effectiveness of influencer outreach initiatives, evaluating consumer engagement levels, etc)
  • Experience with site merchandising, site search, customer experience personalization and A/B testing
  • Management experience with required proven track record in developing, implementing, and growing successful performance digital marketing media strategies
  • Experience in segmentation, identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns
  • Fluent with critical metrics like CPA, CAC, LTV, CTR, Cost per follower and ROAS
  • Skilled at using data and metrics to provide actionable insights, as well as determine optimizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, practice sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job
  • Analytical and quantitative skills balanced with creativity and passion
  • Ability to prioritize while thinking on macro level and be extremely detail oriented
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
